Policy Overview

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to Zulk, a premium URL shortener service provided by VEVENTII (PVT) LTD. By subscribing to Zulk, you agree to the following terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and the availability of links created during your subscription.

Legal Entity: VEVENTII (PVT) LTD operates zu.lk and is responsible for all billing and refund processes.

Subscription Cancellation

  • Customers may cancel their subscription at any time through their account dashboard.
  • Upon cancellation, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • No further fees will be charged after cancellation, and access to premium features will end at the close of the billing cycle.
  • Cancellation does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of any fees already paid.

Refund Policy

General Principle

All subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except as required by law or as outlined below.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only considered under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate Payment – If you are charged more than once for the same subscription.
  • Prolonged Service Unavailability – If our platform experiences extended downtime beyond the SLA guarantee and service credits are insufficient or the issue remains unresolved.
  • Technical Errors – If you are unable to use the service due to a technical issue attributable to Zulk that cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe.

Refund Exclusions

  • Refunds will not be issued for partial billing periods that remain unused after cancellation.
  • Refunds will not be granted where the failure to cancel prior to renewal was due to customer oversight.
  • Refunds will not be issued for changes in business needs, accidental purchases, or dissatisfaction unrelated to service performance.

Refund Requests

  • Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] within 7 days of the billing date.
  • Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis against the criteria above.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to your payment provider's timelines.
  • Refunds represent the final remedy available to the customer and shall be limited to the amount paid for the affected billing cycle.

Link Availability After Cancellation

Zulk is committed to ensuring continuity for links created during an active subscription. The following rules apply:

✓ Will Continue Working

  • Generic Zulk domain links (zu.lk/xyz): All links created using the Zulk domain will remain active permanently.
  • Custom domains: Links created using a connected custom domain will continue to function.
  • Premium link features: Password protection and link expiration will continue to function as originally configured.

⚠ Limited After Cancellation

  • Custom domains: New links cannot be created with a custom domain unless the subscription is reactivated.
  • Analytics and advanced features: Access to analytics, custom integrations, and premium features will end upon cancellation.
  • Historical analytics data: Will be retained for 60 days, after which it may be permanently deleted unless the subscription is reactivated.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Uptime Guarantee

  • We guarantee 99.9% uptime for our premium service
  • Planned maintenance windows are excluded from uptime calculations
  • Service credits may be issued for extended downtime beyond our SLA
  • Downtime must be reported within 48 hours to be eligible for service credits

If you have concerns about billing, cancellation, or refunds:

Changes to This Policy
